How to gain insight during meditation

If you are new to meditation perhaps you think it is about trying to stop throughts from running through your head or sitting quietly on a cushion trying not to move. Or maybe you are a seasoned meditator but struggle to gain personal insight during the process.

This is a simple way in which I use meditation to slow my mind and gain a better understanding of myself in the process:

I ask a question before I begin!

Yes, it’s that simple. I create a sacred space with lighting candles, essential oils and playing music (you can find my all time favourite here .

Not only do I write the question out before I begin, I also set an intention to be shown the answer for the highest good of all. I find that not only am I giving amazing guidance, but the guidance will just keep coming even after I finish meditating.

So, for the past two days I have been meditating on the following question:

What part of me needs to heal in order for me to step further into alignment?

This is the question I have been meditating on for the past two days knowing I have been changing rapidly of late and that with the change, misalignment can be part of the journey.

For me, when I asked the question some events flashed before my eyes of seemingly insignificant experiences. Yet when I asked what the theme was I felt a deep sense of regret for the decisions I had made in each of those moments.

In my conscious thought there is no way I could have concluded that all of these moments were moments of regret followed further by either shame, guilt or humiliation.

This is the power of meditation/connecting to source/The Creator.

From seeing all of these patterns I was then able to clear them immediately using ThetaHealing on myself.

What happens next?

Knowing that the emotional charge to those memories has been transmuted a sense of peace and space is created.

This space can then be used to command a feeling of forgiveness for my actions and compassion for the experiences I lived thereafter.

That's the magic of ThetaHealing and intention based meditation.

I feel so blessed to have this healing modality as such a huge part of my life and truly honoured that I can use it to help you on your journey too.
